My man came in a suit! This is what I’m fucking talking about - CLASS
He looks so happy to be here
Rice
and chicken korma for dinner tonight!
As others have said, this is our biggest signing since Sol. Buying the most premium English midfielder, proven in the league and likely future England captain.
The amount we have spent also comes into it. Remarkable investment and statement to our rivals.
Really excited to see how he is used and what he can bring to the team.
And given Rice’s physical and mental profile, this is huge for how other teams set up against us. Adding Rice to our first XI just gives us that extra edge where we won’t be bullied or intimidated.
This signing elevates us in lots of different ways on the pitch, but also off it. The club’s status and reputation as we enter the CL again has taken a nice boost with this signing.
Love this! ![]()
You can see from every video how much he always wanted arsenal. Refreshing for a player to be that all in for a club.
Rice is more than just a player, he was the heart and soul of West Ham. I think he’ll be our new Xhaka in all but his on-pitch position. We need to rediscover the energy and excitement of the first half of last season.
Moyes knows that despite winning the Mickey Mouse European trophy, West Ham supporters don’t want him there and the player that helped them stay up, has gone to a bigger better club.
If there’s any manager that can waste the 105m they got for Rice, it’s him and if they get off to a bad start, he’ll be sacked and replaced with someone like Potter.
100m is quite a staggering amount for Rice but considering we were on the verge of shelling out a similar sum for players like Mudryk and Caicedo who have only had about six months of top-level experience. I’m really glad we held out and waited for a player who has consistently been one of the best midfielders in the Premier League for the past three seasons. Plus, He’s been a crucial part of the England national team that made it to the finals of the Euros.

Tbf its a stupid question why does it matter to Moyes lol
They’re looking for a good pull quote that either throws serious shade on Rice or creates insane expectations that they can turn around and point to when we lose a match.
Sky Sports feeding off scraps to make news out of nothing from the Moyes presser. The thumbnails they use kill me. ![]()
