If anything think Lansbury made it look more like an attempt to take the free kick lol.
Absolutely not a peep about a red for veltman, just ridiculous.

All the decent refs saying Rice shouldn’t have been red carded but the likes of Mike Dean coming out to support the red. Typical.
Desperate to make the sending off legit…but conveniently ignore all other applicable details, wrong spot, moving ball, kicking rice…
Rotten to the core
Need a petition for this guy to not be allowed to officiate another premier league game. A guy with such poor understanding of the situation, and/or overreaction to such a simple incident is not fit enough for this level of football imo.
I think the established avenues of holding refs to account have shown themselves to be completely toothless and designed to shield incompetent and/or corrupt refs.
Maybe fans should organize an independent body to put pressure on footballing institutions regarding the terrible state of officiating in English football.
I think there is way too much tribalism for that to become a reality. Fans will generally be amused by unfairness, as long as it’s happening to someone else. And then cry blue murder when it happens to them.
Sky Sports are at it the day before Ireland vs England in Dublin

Carsley should name him captain on Saturday.
International breaks are so dull
his best performance of the season. playing on the right side and he was allowed more involvement

Merino - Rice
Also helps he was playing against a shit team
that is undeniably, but I feel for Arsenal there’s just a lack of involvement as he’s square pegged into the left-8 role.
he doesn’t drop deep as he’s told to stay high up and so you don’t see his ability to run with the ball from deep or passing range.
people caring about there nan and grandad…what in the wokery?
I love ya Dec but that’s actually nutty
It ok to celebrate in football
Not celebrating is at least understandable, but refusing the captains armband is just weird.
Sounds like he’s still torn up about his decision to play for England.
Jack Grealish didn’t have any reservations when he scored lol
