We need something from this guy in the run in, only 7 or 8 goal contributions in the league so far ? He’s probably the only one of our forwards with top tier type potential / ceiling.

Saka played as a 10 in one game (at least) in Arteta’s first year here, iirc. That time when Ozil got kicked out, or was injured idk, and we really didn’t have much options. Looked decent.
I remember the discussions here whether he might act as a 10 on a longer term, whether he’s a winger or a fullback/wingback…
Regarding this game, i really liked his movement for that OG we scored. That underlap on Madueke’s pass. We don’t do that often enough. Often we mistime it when we do try it. Was perfectly executed there.
A relatively simple way to create a big chance. City do that way more often. At least used to, while they were good.
He should be getting into more central positions in general, as a winger. Hs a good pass on him, he’s a versatile player. He shouldn’t be hugging the touchline all the time.
All out attacking players should be allowed and encouraged to play with more variety. We desperately lack that.

I wondered if there was an intention to play Saka centrally when Madueke was signed.
