i love saka but this thing that he does when he gets to the 18 yard box infuriates me. He runs then gets around there then stops and does this stuttering walk with the ball ‘which way will i run which way will i go’ You have pace just beat your man and try to get through on goal.
Tonight is a perfect example of why the narrative around his lack of assists recently is just brain dead, he creates two goals that don’t show up as G/A but might as well.
Even when he isn’t at his sparkling best he is still dragging us to 3 points with almost no help. I can’t understand how anyone could ever doubt him.

Ironically he contributed to all 3 goals this evening. Obviously great work in relation to our two goals, but should have done better defensively for the Wolves goal.
On second watch Saka was cooking. Rest of the team should hold their heads in shame.
He gets a 9/10 in a game where no one else gets above a 4/10.

It hurts me to say but I don’t think Bukayo is ever gonna be “the man” to win a title.
Looked threatening when going forward but definitely not a better version Saka from couple of seasons back.
he is turning into a boring no spark player too. I hate his running to the 18 yard box to stop and doing this tiptoeing crap. You have pace bloody use it, i don’t know if it is instructed but it is infuriating he allows the defense to get set again. He is going backwards.
This is very much recency bias. He looked as good as he ever has against Bayern and Spurs and in games up to those and not so good these last few weeks when the whole team looks like shit.
Meanwhile his crosses and corners are as lethal as ever and a big part of why we are where we are right now.
