Saka had only completed one full training session during the week, with his omission from the squad to face Andorra likely to be linked to his fitness.
Letās hope our boy gets through unscathed tonight and then heads off on his holidays for some much needed rest. Hopefully a good 5-6 weeks of r&r for him to see him firing on all cylinders next season.

Saka really needs to take ownership and responsibility here as well. There was no reason for him to risk playing in a meaningless game yesterday.
He admitted he had a small injury toward the end of the season and still didnāt pull out of the International game.
I remember Saka playing in some random cup game early in the season after coming back from injury and when questioned about it Arteta said Saka himself wanted to play as he feels more comfortable having games under him.
In fact, Saka himself has admitted so in a recent interview with Sky Sports. But this is never grabbing the headlines, Arteta running him into the ground does though.

So heās played approximately 300 career games and you feel he only has two seasons (Iām being generous and giving him all of 25 because heāll be 25 at the beginning of next season) in him?
With the way he gets hacked and selected for the most pointless games, yeah I think his level will unfortunately drop. It kinda already has.
Same thing happened to Martinelli after his injury, was just never the same again.
