A goal tonight and he matches last season’s PL tally.
A couple and he’s on the same number of goals as Salah, joint third top scorer in the league.
He’s only 22 years old!

On MOTD, they were going on about Foden, yet very rarely do they talk about Saka the same way.
He might not be world class yet but how many players his age are better than him?
I said he’d get twenty goals this season but he’ll get way more than that.
Yeah, media are going wild with Foden after yesterday. They’re bigging up his numbers, meanwhile Saka’s are better.

Foden is brilliant, no question at all but most people in the media rate Foden as some proven, world class performer whereas Saka has it all to prove. Foden’s trophy cabinet elevates him in the eyes of many
Yeah, 2 more goals than Foden but 4 of his tally are penalties.
Also, I see Saka bigged up plenty tbh, I don’t get that he’s downplayed at least from what I’ve been seeing in the past two seasons particularly

Same narrative across Sky Sports, Talksport and ESPN from what I’ve seen so far.
Saka has been outright England’s best performer for years now. Better than Kane, Rashford, Rice, Foden, Bellingham and many others.
When it came down to it and England were in QFs of the WC, Foden was a ghost, Bellingham was ineffective and Kane bottled it. Saka had the French players on rollerskates.
If you’re gonna build a team, it best be around him.
This is just something that will happen in the media until we win one of the big prizes.
People in the game and especially the England setup should know better though. Saka is literally England’s best player and has been on for some time now.
I mean really, he’s Guardiola’s “go-to man” is he?
It’s not De Bruyne or Rodri or Haaland or Silva, all of who have been more fundamental to their success than Foden? I can’t remember seeing a Saka article like that as the headline on BBC Sport.
Couple of goals in a derby and he’s the savior. Right.
Saka has 63 goal contributions in the league since the start of the 21/22 season. Foden has 48.
You can read this post and it might come across as hating on Foden. Far from it. He’s a brilliant player. I take issue with one being given these type of headlines, and described as world class when Saka gets overlooked.

If we’re talking about games played and attacking contribution this season then yes there has been a shift, which seems to be the spirit of the article. His influence on that team has really grown.
This is the season where Foden is playing practically every game, fair to mention Sakas goal contributions but also fair to say Foden hasn’t played anywhere near the same amount of minutes until now.

Both clubs should be proud that England has both Saka & Foden repping them internationally now. Miles better than the trash wingers England has had in the last 20+ years.
