Personally I put Arsenal winning the league ahead of Brazil whatever winning the World Cup.
I can see it now, some fucking shit player from some shit football national two footing Saka or Jesus in a group game and breaking their leg or tearing their ACL and dashing our league hopes in the middle of fucking December.
The sooner our players are out of this farce of a World Cup the better.
If it was a summer tournament it would be different.

I must be in the minority who sees this as a mini blessing. 6 weeks of No Premier League football with us potentially being top. We return not too far from January - so an opportunity to bring new faces in.
We will have plenty of players not going to the World Cup and many who will not play more than three games. We would be playing maybe ten games between next weekend and Xmas if not for the World Cup.
I think itās great that itās helping our tired squad get a rest for a bit.
