Did enjoy their feud

Sadly anything interesting that occurred blew because HHH won all the time.

HHH was not the mega star he thought he was.

Bret was practically having the match of the year every year since 91.

V Mr Perfect in Summerslam 91
V Bulldog in Summerslam 92 (v Piper in WM8 was also very good)
Any of his King of the Ring matches in 1993
V Owen in Summerslam 94
1995 is the only year it’s difficult to vouch for Bret, although his title winning match at Survivor Series match in 1995 was excellent
V Shawn Michaels in WM12 in 1996
V Steve Austin in WM13

Not many get this type of reaction at the garden in fairness to him

Yep, was a great reaction. He was coming off a good run in 2000-2001. Then it all went downhill right after Wrestlemania X8. Chris Jericho who beat Stone Cold twice and The Rock twice. Got a massively shat on by HHH (Another angle also ruined by Stephanie McMahon). Start of many victims.

Shat on Sting. That was the biggest one.

Don’t get me started on that  HHH already got to face Sting in a WWE ring. What more does he want?

Vince was always gonna have his WWE guy go over sting on the biggest stage of them at all to begin with but imagine if sting doesn’t suffer that freak injury then he probably gets a big win the following year. No shame in HHH being the one to get that victory as he’s upper echelon of attitude era talent.

Tbf, they haven’t. They’ve signed the cream of the crop, some enhancement talent to fill in for the YouTube shows and the rest are for the production of the show which you absolutely need if you start a wrestling promotion with TV from scratch.

Considering what’s available out there with all the WWE releases the past years they really haven’t signed “every” ex-WWE talent. There was someone who actually went out of this way to verify the percentage of ex-WWE guys AEW signed and it’s like under 5% from what’s available.

Nah, it was definitely a big shame. Sting was bigger and more respected than HHH.

If someone called Sting the GOAT, it would inspire discussion.

If someone called HHH the GOAT, you’d laugh at them.
