Bret Hart Was Quite Good

It came from the dirt sheets, so it could be/probably is absolute bollocks, but I read TKO have been disappointed with the ticket sales for WM and thought Mcafee and all the celebs would somehow help things… Anything but decreasing the ridiculous prices I guess lol.

It is very impressive how many tickets they’ve shifted for it though given the political climate in the states, rerunning Vegas and how dire the product has been, apparently it’s 20% less than last year.

I saw somewhere that they were surprised announcing Cena as the host didn’t significantly boost ticket sales.

You’re running the same exact venue a year later for a two day event at absurd prices in an area that’s far from deprived of big wrestling events.

The fuck did they expect?

Wrestling fans do tend to give in, especially in the last week. I do hope that doesn’t happen this time though so they learn their lesson.

Can’t believe I’m saying this, but TKO might actually be worse than Vince in terms of running WWE

Exactly.

This is coinciding with AEW heating up and slowly but surely increasing viewers and attendances at shows again. So if they’re not careful they will price people out and they’ll go elsewhere where you don’t have to sell your children to afford to go to a show.

I hear Stand and Deliver was meant to be quite good.

Thought RAW was pretty decent. Loved Punk’s promo, another one in a great collection.
Seen some people even call it his career best but nothing will top the pipebomb for me.

On a sidenote, it was mentioned in the promo and now the dirtsheets are also reporting it but apparently WWE is planning to lower the prices for upcoming WWE shows.

Definitely not a bad promo, but he’s done so many better ones through his career for sure.

That clash of heads with Liv and Roxanne was NASTY. Hope they’re both ok, saw they’ve been put into concussion protocols…

Those two have been going full force in those brawls.

Damn, Triple H really couldn’t wait for Vince to fuck off. :sob:

This killed me:

7:37 PM Nick Khan: Langis

7:41 PM Vince McMahon: What in the blue hell is “Langis” lol

7:41 PM Nick Khan: Read it backwards!

@DavidHillier sounds like Kyle Fletcher is out for a while :arteta5:

Was that from the spot where he landed awkwardly on his knee? I saw it somewhere recently, looked really nasty.
Is it ACL?

I believe so yeah. Apparently it was his miniscus, but has a few other issues that’ll probably take some healing too :arteta5:

Would suck if he’s out for All In, he’s been killing it over the past year/18 months.

Damn.

He was the best thing in the Don Callis Family

Yeah he’s awesome.
I LOVE Takeshita too, it’s seemed like for ages now he’s been primed for a face turn and to leave the DCF, but Fletcher has been involved with that story too so imagine that’ll be put on the back burner now

Needs to be in jail.

Fully expecting him to turn up on TV over there at some point. They’ll sweep the abuse stuff under the rug and he’ll be welcomed back as a hero by a large portion of the fan base.

I don’t listen to them anymore but I did catch a clip of Alvarez saying hin getting inducted at next year’s HOF in Saudi would make sense.
