I think in a different context Punk would embrace it and piss them off even more but it’s a tricky one now because it doesn’t serve the story with Cena being the bad guy, but most importantly Punk would literally risk his livelihood if he says or does something stupid there.
Anyone watching?
Moi.
Debut
Good match this
This Bloodline thing ain’t never gonna die, isn’t it?
@GC-Maniac what matches are left?
Jade v Asuka is on now(which I don’t expect to go long) and then it’ll be main event time(Punk v Cena).
Here we go
The booking of the Saudi shows has often been less than enthralling but I can’t say I have any issue with the fans there getting a Royal Rumble or indeed a Mania. Been consistently one of WWE’s best crowds for a while now.
How was the PPV, more finisher spam bollocks?
Those early ones were a bit rough I remember but the recent ones have been really energetic. The fans that attend these now are as passionate as other wrestling fans and they’re not looking to take over and make it about themselves as certain European crowds.
Okay I don’t know why, but I turned on a stream
This is probably the most forgiving the sponsorship placement is and it’s still distracting.
Of course. But it was decent till the end where everyone was coming out. Far from any previous Punk v Cena bouts but we’re talking about all-time classics, they were never gonna come close to outdoing those.
This might’ve been Cena’s best in-ring performance since returning for me.
I was honestly expecting Roman Reigns to come out. I am wondering if he’s even working SummerSlam at this point. He’s supposed to go out filming Street Fighter in August.
Punk kicked out of at least 3 AAs from memory.
Only Orton Vs Rhodes is worth your time and that wasn’t anything special.
So I guess we’re looking at Seth v Punk 3 and Cody v Cena 2 for SummerSlam.
I think we’re gonna see Seth walk out with the title in the end.
Best roster ever
Absolute banger
That’s the second best in the series IMO. Crazy standard for a PS1 game.
