I feel like Hogan and Bischoff get too much criticism for WCW and nowhere near enough for their role in TNA’s downfall.
Removal of six sided ring, Monday Night Wars when they were nowhere near ready. Burial of the X Division. Anything unique and interesting TNA did was completely stripped for a bullshit product which fell apart in weeks.
Largely agree and also pushing Bully Ray as a top guy too.
Will also say this though: apparently the six sided. Ring was a bitch bad and it of people supported removing it.
Since the Royal Rumble is tomorrow, Scott has always been my dream surprise entrant.

Brother that Kurt Angle debut and face off with Samoa Joe. Electric.
TNA actually knew how to build guys too. Samoa Joe and AJ Styles were legit top guys.
X Division was sensational.

Ah I don’t mind Double J. He did have to make his own company to get himself over as a main eventer but he’s a solid worker.
Yeah, I did like some of the stuff he did with TNA. Incredible theme tune, too.
If you consider he’s been doing this heel stuff for over 30 years now, wow. To think that he was one of the wrestlers who buried Undertaker for Yokozuna both raises a smile and makes the mind boggle.
Watching the Rumble with company today. We’ve stacked up on an absurd amount of snacks.

Yeah, they did a good job teasing various pathways.
I’d say Cena is the favourite but they could easily go with Punk or Reigns.
The one I haven’t seen people speculate much is Orton.
Orton winning would be seriously underwhelming. As it was in 2017. I like him but I’ve no interest in ever seeing him as world champion or in the main event of wrestlemania again.
AJ as well.
He can stay gone as far as I’m concerned. From being the best in the world in the middle of the last decade, I can’t wait for him to retire now.

In my mind, Reigns was a dead cert to win this such that he could get the belt off Rhodes at Mania.
If Rock isn’t going to be wrestling at Mania, and it seems like he might not, then Reigns Vs Rhodes 3 seems a distinct possibility.
Cena will get a title shot in this farewell tour of his. It doesn’t have to be at Mania. In fact it’s a better story if he has to chase it.
