They added injury time onto his contract (which I’m not a fan of either) and now Penta is officially a free agent it seems like he’s going scorched earth.
They need to just let him go, Tony’s gonna Tony and won’t use him during this time that’s been added anyway, so what’s the point in keeping him. Just let him go imo.

No one knows for 100% sure wtf is going on with Ricky other than he’s healthy, so it definitely seems like he’s just not being used and is sitting at home.

He seemed a bit directionless after Punk left, then that promo happened, the short tag team title run and then absolutely nothing since March, not even a mention. It’s such a weird situation.
I think his close friendship with Cody and very public support of Punk and Jade is probably a bigger reason.
However, I do think that segment with Edge didn’t help his standing.
When it happened I thought it was a bit of a nothingburger to be quite honest with you but Ricky talked about it in a recent interview and he didn’t dismiss like I thought he would. If anything, he threw shade Edge losing his cool and got the vibe they’re not on good terms.
