A couple years ago probably. Mind you, I haven’t spoiled anything yet(it’s only speculation for now) but I am sorry to ruin it for you.
I started watching Wrestlers on Netflix btw. It’s that OVW documentary that made the waves last year I believe.
I was taken aback with how unfiltered it was.
Might’ve been part of the agreement that they had, that they would be allowed to film anything and the OVW people wouldn’t have power over what made it to the final cut.
What an opener for Bad Blood, best match I’ve seen all year.

Just happened to check the WWE app to see if it’s starting at 00:00 or 01:00 but the show was already live, thankfully I tuned in as CM Punk entered.

Punk Vs McIntyre was excellent and wipes out the two previous matches which I felt didn’t live up to the feud. Really good cell match that I think should have gone on last.
Jax Vs Bayley was unremarkable. They’ve had better matches in the past and Jax as champion is just a placeholder while they wait to pull the trigger on Stratton.
Priest Vs Balor was a good effort, though I felt it fell below the intensity of the feud they’ve built which could have just as easily rated the Cell as Punk / McIntyre
Morgan Vs Ripley was a mess. Everyone involved, including Dom and Rodriguez was capable of executing that better and the DQ finish was particularly stupid.
The main event didn’t land for me. I like Reigns and the Bloodline and I think the fact they’ve reinvented this story enough times over 4 years for this to still be going is impressive. I just didn’t think this rated the main event. Especially since the match itself was completely incidental. I really don’t get the hype with Jacob Fatu at all. I find him completely unremarkable. It is fundamentally impossible to care about Jimmy Uso.
I also wouldn’t have brought The Rock back yet. I don’t think the story was there yet. I’d have waited for Wargames. It was also a pretty underwhelming return, bringing him back just to stand there.

I didn’t hate it. I believe I said at the time that I found the “tag the four corners to win” business dragged it down though.

I think it was a botch on the ref’s part. They weren’t supposed to see the interference and it should have led to a three count for Morgan. But it had to be a dq because the ref was in the wrong position.
