Bret Hart Was Quite Good

It was probably MJF’s idea and I’ve seen a few people saying “if MJF is ok with it then who cares” but a lot of people are very upset by it.

TK should have put his foot down and rejected the idea. MJF’s segments already have enough heat. He’s the company’s biggest draw after Punk left and gets the loudest reactions already as a babyface. :man_shrugging:

I think social commentary is a good idea in wrestling (for stories), however the industry is too immature (and pretty stupid let’s be real) to handle it properly.

See for evidence: Booker T/HHH angle.

Undertaker looks awful btw, just retire man. Did all these old wrestlers spend all their money?

That remains one of the most disgustingly disturbing things WWE ever didm

He has retired lol. He retired like 3 years ago

Fair, I shall correct myself.

Stay away from the TV. Enjoy your retirement.

They just had to do one thing: Make sure the right person won. it all would’ve worked out.

It does seem like Vinnie was very averse to having a black champion for a long, long time.

Fair play to WCW. They put the belt on Ron Simmons back in 93.

Even then, Taker doesn’t show up all that much. He only showed up last night to stick it to AEW.

My thoughts on the matter.

MJF is out there doing comedy skits with Cole, doing a bad imitation of Rock trying to call people tofu, potentially entering a romance angle with Max Caster of The Acclaimed, and now he wants to incorporate tackling antisemitism in all of this.

It all feels wrong. MJF’s current character is wrong. Very checked out with whatever he’s doing personally.

The god awful Muhammad Hassan character that was made into a terrorist was originally going to be a face Arab-American portraying the difficulties of having that background in the USA post-9/11.

Obviously there was exactly no chance of a character with that kind of nuance being successful or pushed and so we got the guy who had to be fired after being aired “beheading” the Undertaker on the same day as the 7/7 attacks.

Yep, and TK had a mental breakdown on Twitter yesterday.

I’ll be honest, I thought AEW could see out this decline in business and recover again next year but the dude is too unstable. I think he’ll keep AEW alive for as long as he can but AEW has probably reached its peak already.

Shame because AEW from late 2021 to early 2022 produced some really good stuff. And All In was a great experience, which in hindsight was very much carried by people in the UK begging for a wrestling event at Wembley.

It might be a work. Far too many hints have been dropped signalling a Punk return.

Although, I agree, it would be funny if it was true.

I’m very skeptical over those because we saw the same thing with Cody right before Wrestlemania in 2022 and then he debuted anyway.

I give it till next Wrestlemania.

There’s 3 places he could return.

Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania(moreso on RAW/SD after that).

If he doesn’t return at any of those it’s a wrap for him as an active competitor in WWE. Beyond that he probably returns on a legend deal to be inducted into the HOF, along with his wife.

Yea they said the same about Cody lol. And @GC-Maniac, TK going off on Twitter like this just shows WWE has won already lol. They’ll always ever be WCW 2.0

Imagine if this clown owned our club. I take back anything positive I have ever said about him.
I remember having a big argument with @SRCJJ defending him. I’ll accept a massive L on that.
