Bret Hart Was Quite Good

What’s the TLDR?

There’s no way you posted this my guy.
I had this in the background while I working today and I was thinking I should post it here because it was am interesting watch. Check part 2 as well.

Jon Moxley almost broke his neck on a piledriver and got Rey Fenix to hit the same move on him immediately after

FIFY.
And will add that Rick Corpse allowed it all to happen.

Everything points to Adam Copeland debuting in AEW soon, possibly at WrestleDream too.

Surely they won’t have him use his real name?

Adam ‘The Ledge’ Copeland

Play on the fact he’s a legend of the business and shorten it eventually to Ledge :eyes:

It’s got to be his real name. Anything else would be ridiculous.

Also I assume he can use his theme music as it’s an external, licensed track.

The Japanese getting the whole package free of charge

Nakamura going over confirmed

Over Rollins? That’d be a waste. I think they’re saving thar for Drew or Gunther.

It is getting a bit sad with Seth’s reign though.

It’s actually wild that if you really think about it, his last good reign with a world title was back in 2015.
Wom the WWE title back, lost it minutes later to Ambrose. Won the Universal Title twice, his wife got way more over as “The Man”(which funnily enough used to be an old nickname of his) and he ended up making him look like a cuck before he finally dropped it unceremoniously to The Fiend.

It’s harsh but Gunther feels like the World Champion of RAW and whatever Seth feels like the IC Champion instead.

I knew what this would be just by reading the description. Rocky’s the man.

Christian v Darby main eventing WrestleDream it seems.

Considering they’ve finally put the belt on him last week and made a deal out of Luchasaurus not being around, there’s no way this doesn’t to Edge debuting tomorrow.

Edge in a non-WWE environment will be a weird site.

I take it we’ve all seen the big news?

In other news, this will always be hilarious

Edge joining AEW isn’t really big news I don’t think. I don’t think it’s the right way for him to sign off, bit disappointing really.

It was a pretty good PPV tbf. In-ring wise it was one of their best, if not the best to-date.

Edge had a nice debut as well. The scrum was funny. You can tell from Bryan’s voice it got under his skin a bit and Christian very much targeted him specifically.

Here’s another outtake from the scrum that was hilarious(yet concerning too):

That phone alone is worth billions and the idiot straight up unlocked it and chucked it over to journalists and told them they can scroll too.

Low-key, if I was working for the guy I’d be fuming seeing that. Being your boss it’s likely you shared some stuff with him in confidence, likely via text or email, and he risks that confidentiality so he can have a laugh with his wrestling “journalists” friends.

I listened to a favourable review of the show as a whole, dropping the Punk side show seems to have been a good move for AEW. Other companies would do well to heed that lesson.

Dunno about that, business wise they’re doing all-time bad numbers since All In.
Ticket sales, PPV sales, merch sales and ratings have plummeted.

Collision lost half its viewership to an NXT Special last Saturday and now they have Fastlane next Saturday.
They’re at 300k viewers now as the current lowest, could be looking looking at around 200-250k unless Edge can pop a rating while being fresh and all.
Lord knows what will happen at Survivor Series though. Might be looking at current Impact numbers(100-150k).

There’s just something funny about Edge and Christian being in AEW at 49 years old. They’re older than Sting and Hogan was in WCW 2000. Life comes at you fast.
