Bret Hart Was Quite Good

At that point Hogan’s insane contract was interfering with the creative process. He had to appear in 6 PPV Main Events as per the agreement, no guesses for what a absolute headache that is when he’s not the champion.

Of course why Goldberg didn’t just beat Hogan at The Great American Bash is beyond me. Another case where someone needed to step in and tell Hogan to get a grip. That said Hogan shouldn’t of been champion again, would of liked a Sting/Savage rematch at Slamboree instead. Or just a longer Sting title run in general, he was still their main babyface.

This ties in neatly about Bischoff not admitting mistakes in accordance to his booking philosophy, he was overly obsessed with ‘controversy’ at points where it was unnecessary.

Yea in fairness he does seem to out of his way for that Patreon shit. Kind of cool but also very odd at the same time. Were you driving in London? Did he hear you calling someone a cunt for cutting you off if so?

Haha yeah I was but I don’t actually have any road rage I just let it be unless someone does something seriously reckless lol. I’ve learned to not care about how shit other drivers are.

I think the Patreon content is good. It costs me about £40-45 a month or something along those lines but I don’t mind as the additional content and access features makes it worth it to me

AEW Full Gear this weekend. You gonna watch?

If you haven’t seen NXT Halloween Havoc it’s worth seeking out. Only an hour and a half and thoroughly entertaining

Considering it. Depends on how busy I am.
Btw, I believe it’s next weekend, not this one.
How about you(or anyone else too)?

I’ll try and watch it the same way I watched Arsenal v Leicester last week lol

@Leper the only wrestling I get round to watching nowadays is AEW dynamite.

It’s the only one easiest available. ITV on a Friday night

If it’s even half as good it’ll be well worth a watch

If it’s some McMahon sanctioned whitewashing bullshit then I’m out.

It would be great if they don’t. WWE has produced some great docs the past years and have been very candid about some controversial stuff.
Braun thinking about suicide, Jeff Hardy being caught on tape chatting with his bro about drugs, Angle going crazy with pills, etc.

There is some insane material for a Vince doc if they utilize it. He’s gonna get a lot of much needed attention on him and WWE.

It’s better when they don’t sanction it, mate.

Dark Side of the Ring is some of the most unbridled, handbrake-off wrestling info I’ve ever seen.

Also, Full Gear this weekend. Looking forward to Hangman Adam Page v Kenny Omega.

The Young Bucks v FTR at Full Gear was incredibly reminiscent of Bret and Owen v The Quebecers at RR94

Great PPV last night from AEW, besides the All Out 2020 they got a high rate of excellent PPV’s so far into their early run.

Bucks/FTR and Omega/Hangman were awesome.

Mox/Kingston and Darby/Cody were great.

And the other matches ranged from very good to good.

Definitely in for a shout for PPV of the year. Also Revolution and DON 2020 were fantastic too.

Did you watch Survivor Series?

WWE still cut promos/spots/storylines better than AEW.

For in ring action, though, it’s gotta be AEW. (Their socially distanced crowd is also a better option than WWE’s headache-inducing fake crowd FaceTime noise shit)

I’ve gone off wrestling massively lately, I think the way the WWE handled Covid and now the whole twitch drama has put me off that company. I watched Survivor Series just for Taker. Barely watched any match and even Takers send off was pretty meh. Can’t even force myself to give AEW a go. Guess I’m just always gonna be an old school guy.

I honestly haven’t watched wrestling in years man, I do love the old-school stuff but its just not the same as it was before.

Can’t wait for the crowds to be back. The heart and soul of wrestling.
Credit where it’s due, I think AEW and WWE have been creative enough to cover it up for a bit but now it drags both shows down.
