Bret Hart Was Quite Good

Meh. I’m pretty lukewarm on him, and I actually liked the idea of him getting a push before this.

WWE fans do this sometimes, they get caught up on a wrestler and they whine at the company if they’re not pushed to the moon immediately and when WWE hasn’t it’s often been the right decision. Sami Zayn is the most recent example before Knight. Kofi was another. Firmly midcard wrestlers that would sink like a stone in the main event for any prolonged period of time.

Knight might get there in the end but it doesn’t have to be now, now, now like the vocal online fans want.

He’s not helping himself by doing The Rock’s people elbow lol

He isn’t getting younger though, is he?
They already had concerns about his age before so if it doesn’t happen now I think that’s their opportunity gone.

As much as I like The Bloodline story, I am slightly frustrated with the undercard at the moment. Having a hard time getting invested in anything that’s going on there. Not sure how others feel about it.

Perhaps that’s where I feel Knight can come in and offer something interesting there.

Nah, he’s not the youngest, it doesn’t mean he needs to be pushed right this instant. And if he doesn’t quite get there I’m not that bothered. I’m not buying into any more of these fan investments into flavours of the month.

I’ve no real problems with the undercard, there’s more that’s working than not.

This is 6* star match compared to what we see today.

And certain people have the audacity to say the in-ring product has gotten better ffs.

Link doesn’t work

(Unfortunately this doesn’t have the commentary, which was pretty good I might add, Vince is very underrated as a commentator)

Actually remember watching this match. Was Jarrett’s last match in the WWE for about 6 months. No surprises it was match of the night

The intensity is impeccable, selling was top notch, the pacing was first-class, they made the simple things look so, so good.

@DavidHillier might watch Bam Bam’a dark side episode later

Wicked. New Jersey’s finest. CM Punk paid homage to him on last week’s episode of Collision.

Always impressed me how Bam Bam could fall flat on his front without bending his knees

Who do we reckon is the most athletic big man ever?

Paul Wight(Big Show) was bloody ridiculous when he was young.

Samoa Joe

Define big man?
