Bret Hart Was Quite Good

Bollocks to Disco Inferno.

But Eddie Kingston is fat.

Kingston’s a talentless twat and this (the “heat” with Sammy “I want to rape Sasha Banks” Guevara) being put in the public domain is clearly just another AEW “ooooh is it a work or a shoot” job.

Cool kid tries to be cool and fails again.

At least Disco looked like a wrestler. He got shafted with a shitty gimmick but he had the look and if WCW gave him a decent gimmick he’d have had a decent career.

Eddie Kingston is genuinely a fat talentless twat. Absolute no name.

Jeezus why are these guys so embarrassing as humans.

I don’t understand where this AEW trying to be cool narrative comes from.

Wrestlers blurring the lines shouldn’t be condemned. It’s good that people don’t know what’s real or not.

Btw, Eddie does need to accept he’s self conscious about his weight and if he really has a problem with it he needs to sort that out.

AEW is full of genuine Indy losers who are trying to be cool and edgy lol

Because when it’s done right, which is rare and spontaneous lighting in a bottle stuff, it works well. AEW’s deliberate attempts at it are transparent, contrived, tiresome and embarrassing for fans who buy into it.

Is that fat shaming stuff really a thing? In a industry where being in shape is part of your profession and a reasonable expectation?

Too many small guys with absolutely no physical presence and fat Indy wrestlers in the business these days lol

Well, the state of AEW and all the internal beefs have been the topic of discussion the past weeks and it has reflected on their viewership as well.

People seem more pumped about All Out now than say 3-4 weeks ago.

I certainly prefer this than that “We’re all friends and we’re a happy working environment and we like comedy” bullshit from before.

There was an “argument” backstage between Kingston and Guevara because he used the word “fat” in a promo about Kingston. This then “somehow” got out to reporters and was then magnified by public statements about it to make it seem like a work/shoot situation, something AEW has been hamming up an awful lot lately.

Funnily, this also coincides with other reports that have emerged, which used to come out about WWE all the time about what a miserable place AEW is to work.

I would like AEW more if it literally wasnt a spot fest like this

Only inside the cool kids bubble :joy:

Not even differentiating small and big here. I just mean being in shape period. Mysterio and Guerrero were ‘small’ but they looked legit back in the day for example.

Jesus. That’s one of those moments where if someone you knew who had never seen wrestling before walked in while you were watching it, you’d instantly know you’d gone down in their estimation.

Well even the inside the cool kids bubble started getting bored of some stuff now?

Noticed a lot of cheers when MJF named some of the criticism towards the AEW product that some of us have been vocal about.

Benoit, Eddie both two top main event guys who probably didn’t go above 5’8 height wise. They both looked absolutely jacked, moved well and looked like they could do damage.

Meltzer gave it 5 stars. I saw it today.
That’s Dave Meltzer’s taste nowadays in a nutshell.

Guy has a terrible, terrible taste for professional wrestling today. It’s sickening.
