Bret Hart Was Quite Good

How did Austin look?

He looked good. Slow to begin with but be warmed up

Put it like this at 57 and with 19 years out of the ring he looked better than you could ever have imagined. It wasn’t a disaster, he took some bumps, he played the crowd well and he went like 15-20 mins.

If you’re offering sure brother, pass it in DM’s

FFS the entrance, the 2001/02 Style Mic-work.

I’m in love again

Cody is sucking up WWE big time in these interviews, not sure that’s particularly smart.
You best believe people are keeping receipts already. Gonna look like a fool again in 12 months if things go south. :man_facepalming:

I didn’t feel like Cody was over that much in AEW or maybe I missed something

Not a bad night 1 of Wrestlemania

Okay, big props for Kevin Owens making Stone Cold look incredible.

That match was worth it, no obnoxious flips. Straight up beat-em up.

Loved it

WrestleMania night 1 really was great. The Main event was top, Cody’s return was done perfectly. Bianca vs Becky was great. Even drew vs Corbin was a good match and Logan Paul even impressed. Roll on night 2

Depends what you mean by over. He was a big time babyface in 2018-2019. People turned on him after a while though and he became a bit of a controversial figure as time went, especially last year when he mixed up racism in his feud with Ogogo. Then Punk arrived, Bryan arrived and the Cody shine started rubbing off a bit. He wasn’t the franchise boy anymore.
Still, he always got a big reaction regardless.

Agree with that assessment.

I can’t get my head around thinking the women’s division is so damn “samey” now in WWE.

I’m glad Cody didn’t have a squash match and, instead, he and Rollins put on a lengthy wrestling match showcasing their repertoires.

Logan Paul looked really good when he was kicking the crap out of both father and son Mysterio :joy:

(Supercard of Honour was still better, though :speak_no_evil:)

Too many suplexes on the floor to be honest. I can excuse them because of Steve though.
Still disappointed he didn’t stun his brother in the end.

Wait, wasn’t it just xenophobia?

Cody began burying talent like Ogogo and Malakai (only to some extent- Rhodes should never have registered a clean win over him) and it gave him a HHH feel.

I still don’t mind him, though. Even Brandi had a good thing going v Dan Lambert just before they left so it was a shame they left when they did. (Which surprises me about the racism even more given that his wife is black…)

Yeah, it was that and then he started bringing up the fact that his wife is black and they’re gonna have a kid. It was some weird shit.
People started making those memes about Cody thinking he’s Jesus or MLK.

He admitted recently that the storyline wasn’t well thought out.

Stayed up for night 2 and I have absolutely no regrets. Sami Zayn Vs Knoxville was every bit as silly as you’d imagine and I loved it. Edge/Styles was very strong, everything with McAfee was superb and the main event delivered for my money. First time the second night has been stronger IMO.

I personally think Night 1 was better, but Night 2 was still good. Overall, IMO this was one of the best WrestleMania’s they’ve ever done.

So there are two World Champions in WWE right now:

  • Dolph Ziggler
  • Roman Reigns

Cream indeed rises to the top.

Was night 2 better than night 1?

Also, was it better than Supercard of Honour?
