Brentford vs Arsenal (PL) 1-3

Gonna be a very tough away game. Hopefully Brentford will be a bit open so we will create chances.

Banana skin game, this is. If we do that slow build-up shit, I can’t see us getting anything from this game.

Have to take them to the sword; go guns blazing. Get the goals early and then revert to ‘managing the game out’.

One benefit of the scheduling is that this game isn’t too late in the evening like today’s fixtures.

Staying in the London area is probably good too.

Fuck traveling up north during the holidays.

Brentford’s home record of late particularly in an attacking sense has been good aside from the Forest match. They’re capable of causing any team problems when it all clicks but the defence they’re up against is where I think we can draw confidence. They are not the type of team to play a negative low block tactic all game. They will go after us and teams that leave themselves exposed against us in our away games typically get punished. I know there is very little faith in our attack at the moment for good reason but away from home things have been largely different. If our defensive unit has a strong outing I back us to win 2-1 at least.

Come on boys, let’s start 2025 off with a bang. Would love a nice big easy win today - a couple of Jesus goals would be nice for my FPL team too.

Not confident in this one at all.

Please don’t ruin 2025 Arsenal

I would like Arsenal to win the game.

same. Correct me if I’m wrong, but Brentford have scored the most goals from home this season with 26 goals

Which is surprising, I thought it’d be Liverpool.

Rumours the sickness bug going around has hit a load of our players

Of course it has, bloody season

Thanks for the mini heart attack again @Calum

All on you I’m afraid

Worried about this one to be honest.

4-1 to The Arsenal.
