But he is over complicating simple things as you say by trying that pass with his weak foot. The obvious choice is a one touch back to Leno, using his stronger foot.

In fairness a goal keeper should at least have one person near him that he can play a simple pass to without it leading to a direct goal. Not here though, we donāt want that.

Just like the Xhaka incident, the pass put the player in tricky situation. The fact that itās happened twice in a row leads me to question Leno decision a little bit more. Need to see another replay.

Seen it again. Itās one thing wanting to play out from the back. Itās another thing giving a player a hospital pass. The only player who wiggles out of that situation is Santi fucking Cazorla.

Arteta is to blame for pushing these stupid tactics, but Leno is also to blame for continuously playing the ball to players man marked in their own area or just outside it. Leno can think for himself, if in doubt punt it out.
