It’s a similar story to Ekitike, he was hot property too but Frankfurt’s demands seem to have scared away any interest and now all links to him seem to have gone cold.

They are just pricing themselves out of a move. Either they lower the valuation (likely not this summer, but next) and hope someone bites the bullet. Or he runs the contract down and goes on a free.
This feels very Vlahovic and frankly, if that’s how he and his agent want to play this, then I’m glad we’re going for the player that wants to play for us. I understand the two perspectives of course but if we caved and signed Sesko, who could say that in two years time, he starts this shenanigans with us when smooching a Madrid or PSG?

I didn’t want us to buy him when he was only about 50m. 
Gyokeres was always my first choice so this has just confirmed we made the right decision.
