If this was Mourinho we would be jumping all over it.
Im all for a scrap, and some karma coming back round to bad people.
But wenger is a fool if he cannot control himself and act with integrity.

4/5 games should be what he is getting. But Mourinho is gonna complain because he would like Wenger to get a ban until the end of the season.
I didn’t think this would actually (close enough) happen.
Arsene Wenger has been charged for misconduct following Arsenal’s game against Burnley on Sunday [22 January 2017].
It is alleged that in or around the 92nd minute, he used abusive and/or insulting words towards the fourth official. It is further alleged that following his dismissal from the technical area, his behaviour in remaining in the tunnel area and making physical contact with the fourth official amounted to improper conduct.
He has until 6pm on 26 January 2017 to respond to the charge.
Maybe I am just the only one here that feel good about his push…
The old man finally show some passion and emotion, and act like a human.
For me, his behavior was like, “I fucking care”.
He should be punished, no doubt, but I think it worth it if he can wake the team and himself up.
wake up from what? Sounds more like it woke you up lol
I always feel like we are a sleeping lion.
We have the players, we have the potentials… but always get shut down and get into a slump without a reason.
Have to say again I loved it just like I loved it when he pushed mouriniho or when he got sent to the stands at old Trafford and climbed up the outside of the stand
Martin keown leading the assault on Ruud van nistilroy, Patrick vieras spitting at Neil ruddock
Cesc throwing pizza at old trafford and upsetting Phil brown and the hull staff are all fond memory’s as far as I’m concerned
Fans are such a sucker for visible passion.
It’s like that’s only way one can care for the club.
I did not say this as just a fan, but as a former player and coach.
Players always fired up (could a double edge sword) when they see their coach get into action or altercation.
As I have mentioned, I think the team is missing something, passion, desire, concentration… whatever… if the action can wake up the players, or inject some spirit into the team, it is not that bad.
It was just a small push, not a slap or punch or something serious, no big deal for me.
If “visible passion” has no meaning at all, why I heard many people mentioning Ozil’s body language, Sanchez’s facial expression, and Wenger’s inaction at the sideline that many times???
A former player should know that players concentrate on the ball, rather than checking the action in the tunnel.
I doubt any of our players knew any of it.
Yeah, everything is so perfect to you, and everybody is so 100% highly concentrated on the field.
You are telling me the players didn’t know what happened to Wenger? They did not know their manager was sent off? They did not care why he was sent off?
Even the players did not notice during the game, they sure would know after it.
Difference being that those were all opponents. All examples of poor conduct but I think they can be reasonably enjoyed by our fans (aside from spitting which is just foul), but when the person our player or manager lays hands in is an official then it’s simply not ok.
@sevchenko (fair play for replying to my post btw mate) outlined the problems suffered by officials in lower leagues up and down the country, and seeing top players or managers get remotely physical with officials sends out an awful message.
Yeah I gotta say Arsene I did enjoy watching you do this as I’ve hated Taylor since that game on the opening day of the 13/14 season.
A journalist for the times tweeted that wenger should Be made to ref 10 Sunday league games as punishment lol
I understand the point and not saying your wrong just personally I loved it
This, this, this a thousand times… you can’t have top people in football setting this sort of example. He is very wrong on this one, but 99.9% of the time he is a class act in this respect.
Fucking hell lol.
I think it shows the immense pressure Wenger is under.
Watching a team who have only scored four goals and only one point away from home all season, getting a penalty to equalise must be pretty frustrating.
To be fair to him, Ferguson and Mourinho have got away with a lot worse, especially when Mourinho clipped someone round the ear, and Ferguson screaming into the ear of a fourth official almost every game, and nothing was done, and was barely mentioned in the media.
A lot of woman feel that way the next morning too after a night out with me !
