We might be light in terms of our key defensive pieces (Saliba, Timber, Rice etc) but we have basically every attacker back barring Kai. We should have the firepower to win this game even if we are bit more ropey at the back.
I don’t think we should rush anybody back given the hectic Christmas schedule. Of course if they are fit then it’s no problem to play them (they’ve been off for a week or more) but we need to get bodies back safely with the next 3 weeks in mind.
We also play before City and EmeryBastard so can add some pressure to their trips to Palace and West Ham respectively.

Rice was just sick so he should be fine for this. If not, go with Merino or Odegaard.
Madueke deserves a PL start.
From what Arteta said Timber and Saliba should be fine for Everton, I’d take zero risks with them here.
Can’t disagree. Although I might be tempted to select the ubiquitous Norgaard at CF in place of big Vik.

Actually pretty glad about that. I can’t watch Saturday games normally (can kind of have early kick offs on in the background) but I’ll have dropped my daughter back home by the time this kicks off.
If we ever get a Sunday 8PM game, I’m just not watching that though.
