Time to really smash this lot and set a new PL record . 10-0 would be sweet . That’ll make Sullivan drop his mucky mag !
17-0 and the away end empty by the 24th minute.
We all know what to expect from Nuno’s teams. They’ll be hard to break down and dangerous on the counter. I expect this to be a tougher game than it looks on paper, even though Nuno’s only been there a week.
we could be top of the league going into the international break
Raya;
Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori;
Odegaard, Zubimendi, Rice;
Saka, Gyokeres, Eze
This is the team we were all thinking of before a ball was kicked this season. Reckon we will still see one of Martinelli / Trossard on the left though. They have both looked good imo.
Feels Painful leaving one of Eze or Odegaard on the bench.
That’s arguably our best team.
We’ve got the best defence in the PL, with Rice and Zubimendi in front and game changers upfront with Odegaard, Eze, Saka and Gyokeres.
This is probably Arteta’s preferred starting line up and with players like Kepa, Mosquera, White, MLS, Nwaneri, Dowman, Trossard, Martinelli and Merino, as well as the injured Havertz, Jesus and Madueke, we also have the strongest bench in Europe.
Was surprised to read this as well ![]()
Anyway: MATCHDAY.
Must win, should win, will win.
It seems we often play teams who’ve just got a new manager so it’s annoying Potter has gone because it would have been a straight forward win for us.
These are the sort of games we used to struggle with, especially with teams that had set up to defend but with the new attacking signings this should be a comfortable win so I’ll go for 2-0 with Gyokeres and Saka to score.
Anyone without a ticket, might be worth seeing if the ticket exchange has any returns for today. Lots of railway lines into London are blocked, there will be a few people who won’t make it to N5.
Eze and Odegaard in midfield together!!!

Too offensive?
The bench isn’t bad either ![]()
And that’s without Noni, Kai, Jesus & Dowman
Ok Mikel you have my attention sir
Is that an euphemism for something? ![]()
