Arsenal vs Spurs (PL) 4-1

Just seeing City are away to st James park. Would be nice if they could drop a few points before this.

Yeah, seems Tottenham have a handsome injury list too.

Yes :star_struck::star_struck:

Sure it’ll be from the bench on Sunday but good that he’s back.

Can Odegaard play cf? Good to see him back but it’s Gyokeres that I need to see available or even Jesus from the bench.

Awesome news but I’ll wait to see him complete the game without getting injured before getting excited. But yes, awesome news, if true.

Timber Saliba Hincapie Calafiori

Odegaard Zubimendi Rice

Saka Trossard Eze

I’d go with something like this. Think trossard goes well as a false 9 well because he will pull VDV into midfield and wide and make it tricky. If its not working easy sub for merino up top in the second half.

I think Ƙdegaard could make a cameo but the Spurs game feels early for him in my opinion. I think we will roll with the same team but with Hincapie filling in for Gabriel.

Out of interest, why do you favour Hincapie over Mosquera?

Left footed and feels more front footed similar to Gabriel.

But to be honest, fine with either.

Arteta prefers a LCB that is left-footed. Saliba could play LCB since he’s been playing there for France too. But that would mean two position changes instead of one.

Saliba - Mosquera

I’d prefer

Hincapie - Saliba

Cala not fit?

Would go with him and MLS.

We play a very important NLD in 48 hours and I still have international brain on after the best game of my life on Tuesday. It will stay with me forever and I am still not quite over it yet. :joy:

One more day then I park it till March.

What a week in store for the return to club football though Tottenham,Bayern and Chelsea :ode2:

At least one person on earth enjoyed the shitternational break

He is, but he’s been so instrumental in that left-back spot. All over the pitch causing chaos like Arteta called it.

I agree MLS could do a fine job as well though. We’re stacked in that area thankfully.

What cavalry?

Defender Riccardo Califiori is a doubt for the north London derby, having withdrawn from international duty with Italy with a hip problem.

The Italian is yet to train since returning to London but Arteta says he will be given every opportunity to prove his fitness.

ā€œHe has been carrying a few things,ā€ said Arteta.

ā€œHe hasn’t trained yet. Tomorrow we have another training session, let’s see how he is.ā€

Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres remains unavailable with a hamstring problem.

ā€œHe has been carrying a few things,ā€

Not just one person a full country. I love club football and how tribal it is but in international football when the whole country is celebrating getting back to the pinnacle of football after 28 years of disappointment. It’s a pretty incredible feeling.

You must have enjoyed New Zealand qualifying for the first time in 16 years back in March?

I don’t want to derail this thread for a very important NLD but just my right of response.

One of my Spurs neighbours (that’s right, I’m surrounded by them) messaged me this morning to say that they’ve got 10 players out injured at the moment.

This may turn out to be the best time to play them. Get an early headstart, get the job done by half-time then we can do some rotation and saves some legs for Bayern. That’s exactly how it will go.

Ah, hang on, it’s Michael Oliver refereeing so who the fuck knows what will happen?
