Win this game and, with the new format, we’re one step closer to qualification already.
Win it, scoreline doesn’t matter
Quite honestly, no.
I don’t watch anything that isn’t an Arsenal game or Arsenal adjacent content (like highlights of a rival losing). To a lesser extent also England. My consumption of extra Arsenal content like podcasts has dropped enormously over the last six months.
I don’t want to publicly go into details but I had a horrible personal experience at the champions league game against Bayern back in the spring and I haven’t quite felt the same about football since.
Only the fact that Arsenal are currently in the kind of phase that they might not be in again for decades and the fact that coming on here is such an engrained habit for me has kept me engaged to this degree.
But also, having to have three subscriptions to watch all the games is a joke. I have TNT with my phone, but I’m not paying for especially Sky because it’s extortionate and I don’t use Prime at the moment. I can’t stand streaming because it’s so unreliable and all the spam that comes with streaming.
This is all incredibly relatable to me as well.
Are the subscription charges exorbitant in the UK? Here in India, we too need 3 subscriptions to cover the League, FA Cup, CL and Carabao Cup and the monthly cost for all 3 together would be around 7£.

Dembele not in squad for the game:

Just to clarify, I’m not talking about heavy rotation here. I’m talking about a player or two. That’s what he did last season when we were playing twice a week. Use one team on the weekend and rotate a player or two for the next game midweek.
He did that against Atalanta too by starting Jesus over Trossard.
I think he’ll keep the same team here though and rotate against Southampton instead.
That’s good. Dembele v Kiwior would’ve been a mismatch.
Nwaneri
Havertz
Shame there isn’t a donkey emoji for Havertz.
Brave going without a goalkeeper
Jeez thank fuck Gigi and Vitinha are out, if we can’t beat this team with these injuries then we have no right being in the CL
That LiveScore list could be out of date, because this is their traveling squad:
Physical altercation…wtf Paris
Usually is. I’ve seen Livescore mention a player in the injury list while they’re starting.
Yeah last time I subscribed to Sky (or Now TV more accurately) it was £25 a month (reduced from £35 normal price).
I don’t know how much TNT costs on its own because it’s bundled in with my phone but I think it adds about £5 to my bill. Then Prime is obviously about £8 as well.
Looking at their recent matches, I would predict this for their lineup:
Barcola-Lee-Asensio
Zaire-Emery-Neves-Ruiz
Beraldo-Pacho-Marquinhos-Hakimi
Donnarumma
Vitinha could be in there if fit, probably for Neves. In their last CL match Luis Enrique wanted Ruiz as one older head in midfield so my guess is that its either/or with Vitinha and Neves.
That forward line looks fairly tame, even with Barcola perhaps having a breakout season. Asensio for Dembele is a pretty big downgrade and Luis Enrique does not seem to rate/trust Kolo Muani.
