Arsenal vs Palace (CC) 1-1

I think that’s Merino honestly. Until both Jesus and Havertz are fully fit and show consistency then Merino has to start upfront in PL and CL.

Gyokeres has had enough opportunities and not shown much.

Gyökeres and Jesus ought to both get minutes against Palace - for different reasons - but both could benefit from the minutes and we wouldn’t exactly be running them into the ground if they shared them in this game.

Nah. I’m with you on this. Got to be in it to win it. I want to see us progress tomorrow.

Palace not in the best of form lately, but no doubt they’ll be very up for this as it’s a chance for silverwear.

What we require is only the most creative, flair players, testing the very latest in full on jogo bonito Teta-ball.

Gimme Eze, Jesus, Madueke and Nwaneri all at the same time please.

Agree but the reality is that they’ll be entertaining each other on the bench.

What makes you think that? Arteta has been rotating heavily this season.
At least two of them will start. Bank on it.

Don’t want to see Rice, Zubi, Saka, Saliba, Timber, Cala, Ode start in this one.

Surely one or two of those will be in the starting lineup

Given the injuries we have in defense, I expect Saliba and Timber to start.

I’m pumped for this. 4 wins from a trophy.

Genuinely feels strange playing a game of football tonight. I am not invested at all and keep forgetting about it :joy:

Wonder how the attendance will be tonight

They opened the exchange to all members yesterday so I’d say it’ll be close enough a sell out.

Well I for one am invested.

Did you see me in the Port Vale thread?

Update appreciated.

More where that came from. You’ll updated about how happy or sad I am depending on the outcome of this match.

I’m quite happy to have a game that doesn’t come with the baggage of the pressure on league games at the moment. Feels like a game I’ll be able to enjoy more than a lot of recent matches.

That could work very well.

But it would look too similar to City.

Too many creative solutions, players possibly changing positions, getting into pockets, doing something unpredictable…

You want your wingers to STAY WIDE, and the midfielders first task is to PRESS.

You need to keep the STRUCTURE.
