Love the good vibes in the forum the last couple of days, only for Arsenal to come back again and get us on each other’s throat. 
It’s almost as if not just Saka but in general footballers are playing even more minutes than ever before because of pointless internationals and a new Champions League format
Has anyone actually seen the stats on that? I’m not convinced tbh, even before the nations league they just had friendlies or qualifiers anyway right?
Expanded CL yeah, but that only came this year and we also have had 5 subs for the last 4 years which should bring the numbers down.
I think two things have gone up, the whinging about it and the level of pressing/exertion per game is probably higher.

Over 5 seasons. And he played around 33 games for England over a 4 season span in the same time period.
That means in a 5 year period Keegan managed to play 314 games.
And yes the game is faster and teams press more now but they also benefit from extreme advances in sports science with recovery, nutrition, strength building and resistance work far far greater than it was in the 70s.

Load management will be key to navigate through this schedule.

You know, after all this waiting which tbf has been quite peaceful. But it would be something to fail to win this and all the negativity just rises from the earth.

1-1 is my very likely to be incorrect prediction. We’ll play too conservatively, Forest will score anyway and then we’ll huff and puff our way to a late equaliser.
I am not making any predictions cause I don’t have much confidence in us at the moment. Yeah a break should help and having Ode back should get us back in our groove but let’s see how it actually plays out. Any result is possible.
