Arsenal Vs Newcastle (LCSF-1) 0-2

Didn’t watch the game. Not surprised by the result as I was half expecting it. And I expect a few more losses in the coming games. Between the injuries, some questionable refereeing decisions, Arteta’s defensive/pragmatic approach and loss of form of players, things have just gone a bit stale and flat.

Need something to re-energize/galvanize the team, maybe that’s a new signing, maybe that’s a Dubai trip or maybe that’s just change in tactics. Whatever it is, this team desperately needs something to lift them cause otherwise I expect more of these sort of results.

At the end of the day, Newcastle Isak, Arsenal Isn’tak. That’s what this game bottled down to.

It’s like we have forgotten what Aubameyang did for this club.

He fired a shit small dick Emery to an almost 4th and EL final, then Arteta to an FA cup just based on his goalscoring.

Which is the aim of football.

We were not at all a good football team then.

That streak which was always shit in 2018 was built off him.

Why have we forgotten this.

Revisionism, that’s why.

Auba was Wenger’s final gift to AFC, it’s a shame how it ended with him here. Just wasn’t a good match on both sides between himself and Arteta. Though like you say, he did win us the FA Cup with those goals against City and Chelsea.

Don’t think it was a Wenger signing.

oh, was he Emery?

Sven/Raul

I mean to say that although Auba was bought under Wenger, I don’t think Wenger was the one driving the transfer
