He’s Finnish and last played in Siberia 3 years ago. Been fishing on a lake since.
Lucky to have him.
If that was Arsenal…
Fucking hell…
Positives: a lot more urgency in our forward play.
Negatives: Same old crap, creating lots of chances but not executing them into goals.
Odegaard had a stinker today. Rice looked lively.
Window open, need offensive additions badly.
What an absolute shit show this season is
We can’t create shit from open play and ironically today couldn’t even finish from corners.
Honestly I’d feel so much less shit about our state if Arteta would just openly admit to how much of a problem it is instead of pretending there’s other forces at play each week.
Time to move on, still more annoyed that we should’ve been celebrating closing 2 points on Liverpool on the weekend.
This comp is never important anyway, that’s why I wanted the first team rested given the illnesses and injuries. At least hopefully we will do it in the second leg now.
Rotate against United, see what happens but the big game is the NLD next week.
This may be an unpopular decision, but I’m not sure I would have given a foul for Isak’s push on Odegaard. That sort of thing goes on all the time, especially at corners.
That summer window will haunt us for a good while
If odegaard falls to the ground its a foul
Quite the fucking anomaly
The only player that should be 100% safe on the attacking side is Saka.
Havertz, Jesus, Trossard, Martinelli should not be guaranteed spots, or even on the bench. All varying degrees of reliability. But none reliable enough.
Just not enough in it for me. Perhaps if he’d done a Pedro and gone down like he was shot, then maybe he could have fooled the referee.
Sterling must have done something really offensive to Mikell.
Realistically if you put two hands on your opponents back and apply pressure it’s a foul. But i don’t have any great issue with it not being given at the same time, think it gets overlooked most of the time.
Unless Havertz does it obviously.
Just came back from an injury pal
Hated conceeding that goal, but yeah, that’s a foul no doubt.
A blatant VAR mistake.
That’s a foul any day of the week. A clear push from behind, Ode had no chance to win that ball, that’s not a fair constest for the ball.
We have been robbed there, all our own mistakes aside.
Haven’t seen that yesterday… Some even suggested Ode played the ball to Isak ffs
Have to also say, pretty disappointed Ode isn’t protesting there, wtf? Just standing as a dummy there. Proper captain, no doubt
