I honestly don’t it’s purely down to that. Despite some flashes of brilliance, it looks to me like Eze still needs time to gel with the team.
Different teammates, different tactics and he barely spent time with the team.

Surely Martinelli could cause City some trouble if Khusanov plays tomorrow, made Khusanov look like an amateur when played Lens.

Obviously want a win today but I really want Gyokeres to bag a goal. His hat-trick against City in the CL was a weakened team and I worry that the narrative from last season, that Gyokeres doesn’t score as many against the big teams needs to be put to rest asap.

Really hope we tear them apart again. It should be possible, we have a stronger squad this season. Though they’ve also strengthened.
