I heard that Saka went to his barber to get the cut he always does before a game

Timber available according to several on X.

I’m very interested to see where exactly Timber plays if he starts.
Salah is a threat but so are Gakpo and Diaz on the other side.

Can see him playing the Odegaard role

We are winning this.

We don’t lose big 6 games under Arteta in the league. Especially at home

Stadium better be up for it. Be the 12th man

Yeah, I’ve seen the pics too.

However, didn’t we do something similar a year ago against City and ended up nit using Saka?

MATCHDAY

Let’s go! 3-1 Arsenal.

A bit nervous about this one due to the injuries, but also quietly positive we can do this. 2-1 Arsenal.

Why?

2 nil Arsenal

Am dreading this one. This could go horribly bad.

Have some faith in your team lads - even if it doesn’t look too good :+1:t5: just back em and lets see how the dice roll !?

Don’t see any reason to worry tbh. We’re still a brilliant team with the injuries. Maybe it doesn’t work out but it’s still more likely we win than lose today.

Keep calm and pass the ball to Martinelli

Folk seem more worried about the Bournemouth and Southampton games than this one.

Someone care to explain? Whilst I’m terrified about today’s game :frowning: but thought we’d steamroll the other two.

You’ve made it up

I see the BBC is suggesting we’re the underdogs today. Great stuff, that’s when we’re at our best. Bring it on.

My prediction

Partey White Gabriel Kiwi

Rice Jorgi Merino

Saka Havertz Martinelli

Would be great if Timber can make the squad, but I’m not too hopeful. I’m giving Saka a bit more chance, if he’s out I wouldn’t be surprised to see Jesus there.

Trossard could start in stead of Jorgi/Merino too, that’s a 50-50 one, depends what Arteta prefers.
On one hand, we could use his abilty in those pockets around the box, and he’s been quite good there lately. On the other hand, our midfield could suffer with only two guys there. Personally, wouldn’t mind starting with Merino and then using Trossard later on.
