First 20mins was a farce. Horrendous conditions, depleted visitors, ambitious home crowdâŚApart from a little magic from the wings, zero questions asked, killed the atmosphere and Liverpool still had the best chance
After the break, barely came out the blocks. Laughed when neville said âarteta wonât take much more of thisâ, watching Mikel on the touchline trying to motivate the team after that first half when heâs clearly told them not to try much at all. Changes are made and 25mins laterâŚno change in the pattern of the game at all! In fact itâs even more disjointed.
With whatâs on the line, not just in terms of winning the title, but just extending the lead, that is unacceptable. What are we expected to think? Because it doesnât look like a team that wants to win the game let alone the league. So angry.
