Arsenal vs Ipswich (PL) 1-0

He’s still playing.

Expecting at least 3 goals today

Piccadilly seems fine atm btw, just got on at KC and usual every 4 mins service.

Damn, literally no attackers in that subs bench. We have to go out in the window for sure when it opens.

Look at the bull just holding down that starting place

Why Kai in midfield??
No reason for that

I think the logic is that without Saka we’re going to struggle to score so you put an additional attacking minded player on the pitch rather than a Merino or Rice in that role.

But it does stress our depth even more.

Diamond formation in midfield again. He’ll play alongside Odegaard with Rice sitting deep. Worked well previously.

Lots of wheels on each unit to put through the lathe, sliding on leaves damages the wheels and causes a rough ride for passengers and further braking issues.

From a railway perspective a short left-fall season is always a big problem. The newer, lighter trains on the Piccadilly should be more resilient from next Autumn.

Anyway, back to the match, this doesn’t look like it’ll be a sell out, empty there with less than an hour to go.

maybe Arteta fancies him a better #8 than Rice. Whilst Rice is best as a #6.

Eventually, Partey & Nwaneri will come on to replace them both - hopefully when the game is dead and buried.

Running a bit late tonight…brisk walk required to get there for kick off…hoping for a good match tonight. Need to keep pressure on Liverpool by winning our games. COYG!

We need to get some minutes in Nwaneri’s legs and ramp him up. I hope he comes on for 25-30 at least.

There’s no way we can get through January, when we’re playing twice a week the whole month, without Nwaneri starting some matches. Otherwise we’ll just be running the other attackers into the ground and risk another injury. He hasn’t played more than 45 minutes since the end of October.

Ipswich… A game that we can afford to start Nwaneri and give Merino game time.

Anyway, a strong lineup and good enough to win.

Love seeing Santi again

Feels like home.
