Arsenal vs Everton (PL) 2-0

The best thing I can say for this match is that I’ll miss most of it dropping my daughter home.

Btw, with Havertz getting some minutes under him and with Everton most likely parking the bus for this, I fully expect Arteta to bench Eze and use Kai/Gyokeres here.

Sticky…. Like toffee.

Prickford is going to have one of those games, isn’t he?

Just gerrit done Arsenal.

Arteta needs to take the fckn handbrake off this team and let them start moving the ball quicker, need 1-2 touch !!

yeah problem is we are also static as F and our first touch and awareness is half a second too slow right now, so it just allows team to get into their low block on us too easily… but i agree - big pic we need faster movement and passing and decision-making. We have the technical ability but are absolutely not demonstrating it atm. Fatigue and maybe nerves aren’t helping… that performance from Saka against Leverkusen i have no idea wtf that was

We’re at home. Win. Simple

I reckon we have 2 shots in the first half and 10 billion side ways passes as we “probe” Everton’s deep block.

Flukey goal in the second half for a forgettable 1-0 “We don’t care” win.

7 points ahead with the title in sight and looking to maintain that lead. These are the games we MUST win if we are to make sure the title race stays in our hands. No two ways about it.

An opportunity for Arsenal fans to visit the only stadium in the world that’s built at sea level but has the word “Hill” in it.

Oh, it’s at home. I’m still learning how fixture lists work, they’ve only been around for 150 years.

I will absolutely take it at this point lol

Is that Zubimendi at #10 against Everton at home?!
Who are you and what have you done to @Flexo ?

It’s a way to get Zubimendi further up the pitch, which seems to be where he’s been most comfortable. Secondly, I’d imagine he could do a decent Odegaard impression when we’re without the ball. Thirdly, it brings an excellent ball carrier in Lewis-Skelly into the team, adding another dimension to our game.

Need to mix things up, so why not?

I’d even be ok with minutes from our young boy - seen more from him than lately from most of our attacking players.

Everton haven’t played in 10 days so will be well rested. Moyes is a master at parking the bus, his teams are well drilled and they will frustrate the heck out of us. I hope Set-piece and Own Goal are on form for this one cause they will be our best sources of goals.

I just hope we don’t make a mistake and concede first cause then it will just be impossible to break Everton.

Not a bad shout. He does bring a lot of danger in the final third.

I mean, doesn’t have to work, but considering how shit and sterile we look atm I’d try every option out there.

I really miss Ode (in form) and Partey (Jorginho too).

I think he has to start Madueke because his impact the other night merits it, but I’m also not sure he’ll drop Saka so I do wonder if Madueke starts this match on the left.

I have to go out at half time so please just be 3-0 up so I can enjoy my night out cheers

In the words of McMahon, “Opennnnnn him

Upppppppp”.

I want directness and sharpness. It’s not resting, it is rotation.
