They’re fine with us having the FB’s move inside, they’re just packing the middle
Will be harder to punish them with set pieces also, the team just isn’t one that transitions quickly and incisively.

20 passes in between defenders, and another 50 passes in between midfielders to find one perfect pass.
This ball recycling possession style is just fucking boring, and not even effective now.

Well that was shit.
We slow the game down way too fucking much. We just stand there and pass across with zero movement, minimal attempts to dribble at defenders outside of Saka, no incisive passing or creative combination play.
You expect Everton to be horrible to watch but we are genuinely just as bad on the eye.

Saka is our only attacker in any kind of form. Odegaard just hasn’t regained real sharpness yet, Havertz looks leggy and overplayed, Martinelli just not good enough.
