Fair play to the team, despite Brentford having a good period in the end of the first half and start of the second, they actually powered through it well.
Brentford’s chance that hit the bar was the only thing dangerous chance they created really.
Had plenty of opportunities to make it 2 and kill the game early. That and Brentford’s ability from set pieces made it a bit nervy at times.
That was an awesome save by Raya.

3 points and a cleansheet. Lovely stuff. Players understandably looked fatigued.
Brentford had two key chances and the narrative could have been different but thankfully that wasn’t the case.
The header against the bar was the only real chance but that sequence on about 87 minutes where they flicked the throw to an empty back post was really dangerous. They just had nobody there for whatever reason.
Every set piece I was holding my breath.
Thats one of those results that shows the mentality of a team. Absolutely massive to see that out and to know our backline can keep a cleansheet when its a totally difterent one is awesome to see. What a result.
Despite losing Mosquera early on, I enjoyed our players not getting the absolute shit kicked out of them.
I got back in time to watch the last 30 minutes, nice 2-0 win and back to the clean sheet

When you look at the 14 draws we had last season that killed us, this was one of those types of matches we failed to see out and we did this at limited strength tonight. It’s very promising to be getting a lot of these results over the line this season.
Sounds like we created a lot of chances but.
