Noice, our strongest lineup.

That seems like a pretty strong Bayern lineup on paper, especially going forward, strong attacking full backs too… But the biggest weakness there seems the central midfield with no proper controler/technician there.

They are dangerous if we offer them space, but we should be able to win the midfield battle and impose our dominance from there.

Their front four is scary only on paper though. Gnabry apparently been injured a lot this season and only coming back. Musiala is a young lad who can be got at, and Sane not the Sane of old anymore. Stop Kane and we stop them imo.

Even Alexis wouldn’t be guaranteed, yeah probs starts over martinelli but it’s not exactly a major upgrade anymore.

I’ll be honest, I thought we’d have been weaker having lost 5-1 but you’re right that we’ve come a long way. Add Wenger’s “just go and express yourselves” approach to tactics at a time when the game was becoming more sophisticated didn’t help.
