We played well to beat spurs but Aston Villa are a far better side so with our injuries piling up and having to rotate our defence it won’t be easy.
I’ll go for a 2-2 draw with Gabriel and Trossard to score.
So ref and VAR hate Arsenal, PGMOL rattled
Saliba out … fuck this season
It was obvious he’d go with Timber at CB but I’m intrigued to see what the rotations will be in possession now with both MLS and Partey being inverted full backs.
Either we’re stacking up the midfield or one of them will join the backline. There’s also the scenario that Rice takes a more conservative role and Partey, MLS, Merino and Odegaard form the box midfield instead.
Saw it when he did that late run, pulled up right after playing the ball.
Just typical of our luck but hopefully just a week or so out if it’s not a proper pull/tear.
Have Partey do as little forward running as possible from RB so have him sit back. If he ends up injured we’re fucked.
Partey RB ffs
One of him or Skelly needs to get into the midfield otherwise we’ll create fuck all.
I think GC is right with rice dropping in to the back 3 and both fullbacks playing central.
Midfield and defence is cooked.
No Saliba
Cunt of a ref too.
0 points.
Can’t see anything positive coming for this result.
Hope I’m wrong.
I can’t watch this tonight and I am a bit glad tbh.
Cant watch us dominate but miss every chance and lose/draw
3-0 win with Mings sent off in the opening ten minutes
Juventus will bite our hands off for Calafiori. Top talent but what’s the point if you’re never available?
Arsenal need to take advantage of set pieces as I think they’ll struggle to create in open play
We’re Arsenal mate, this is exactly how it works
Would be the wise move to make rather than persevere. He’s clearly not cut out for the demands of the league.
Nah I don’t think it’s got much to do with the league firstly it’s being a left back and secondly he’s got a history of injuries it was bound to rear it’s head at one point.
It was always a risk given his injury history and think a couple of us did say in the summer his body might not be right for the left back role and that’s proven to be the case so far this season.
Must win now, was anyway but liverpools late goals doubled down on that.
Big boy performance needed now.
Small dick mentality is not acceptable.
We need to think big and win big.
Here we go
