Arsenal v Watford (PL)

That’s the thing about shithousery. Players/managers will defend it until they’re blue in the face, unless it’s the opposition, and then it’s a sporting crime.

Ok we got the win but it should have been a much more favourable scoreline than it was.

We need to get better at finding the 2nd goal in the games like Norwich and Watford, outplayed them both comfortably but they’ve had a punchers chance until the final whistle.

AMN and Lokonga midfield did hold up better than I feared, or be it against poor opposition.

Gabriel and White very good but without being tested much.

Delighted to see ESR rich vein of form continue.

Ramsdale was due a mistake thankfully it didn’t cost us.

“Watdford’s shit ahhhh!”

  • Aaron Ramsdale, probably

Nice to see a hard fought win especially after not sticking chances away, have to develop that trait. Team is starting to look consistent and the summer signings are all contributing.

I still don’t buy into Arteta but he’s currently got the team doing the minimum considering we’re playing once a week and that’s a positive.

Big test against Liverpool. Will truly show if anything changed compared to our games against Chelsea and City earlier this season.

Fuck I’m not used to us being so high.

I feel like you could tell that just by looking at the picture

I’ll take your word for it.

Things I know about Fortnite:

  • it’s a game
  • there’s a dance somehow associated with it
  • we’ve lost record signings to it

The dreaded Griezmann dance.

Still can’t get my head around Auba’s day, legit cost us 3 goals, can’t remember a striker having a day that bad for us for some time.

Who was it that predicted an Aubameyang hat-trick earlier in this thread ?

OA will still do at least one madness during the break, this is the way.

I just wanted to mention, I know it’s a rule but I can’t be the only one that finds it weird that you need to have 2 defenders goal side of the keeper or it’s offside… when I see the goal like the Saka one my natural reaction is the goal should stand… seems like one of the more bizarre rules going.

Well I was kind of right. He should have had a hat-trick. Not my fault he was being coerced by a gang to try make us lose.

Not a bad shout. That’s a win for all parties involved.

No diss to Auba, I love the guy but he’s below what we need to push forward. We need CL football to be competitive again and neither he nor Laca look like they’ll carry us there.
