Arsenal transfers 25/26

@Sol

That’s what makes me the GOAT poll maker. Rewritten the rule book. Polls never been the same since.

Also, I reckon I’ve made about 3 polls in 12 years. That is true greatness. Take your CR7 energy somewhere else my guy, deep down you know the truth

There’s only one fraud around here and it’s that Belgian flop at Madrid.

I agree with @Phoebica , Dusan to Juventus is so obvious. Fiorentina have looked like big dopes lately when it comes to transfers to Juve. I think it might actually happen in January so they can extract a fee.

Isak would be amazing.

Imagine arsenal having a chance at either.

If Conte was willing to sign for Spurs it means we have every shot at signing either one of those guys. It would just take a lot of money.

Basically it’s the sort of signing that’s possible if we somehow finish 4th this season coupled with being really ambitious with spending.

I think the former is more of the concern, we have shown we’re willing to spend lately.

You don’t think we could lure talents away from the the dizzying heights of Fiorentina or Real Sociedad.

Either would be lucky and privileged to play beside the demi God that is ESR

I think it’s more about what other clubs will we be up against when they’re moving.

We just have to pick our moment when everyone else isn’t looking like we did with Partey. Hopefully that moment is in January because so far we’ve been linked to Watkins, DCL, Jovic, Vlahovic, Issak, and more, we should have the means and method to get someone if we’re serious.

I’m actually not too worried that we’ll find a suitable replacement for Lacazette soon, the market isn’t as bad as it once was for CFs.

A real range in terms of qualities in that fivesome.

It is more encouraging than being linked to Ryan Fraser and Tammy Abraham.

Thankfully we didn’t sign Abraham.

That guy just ain’t it, not surprised he’s struggling at all.

Oh, another sign now, pay after 10 years deal

Be prepared for the club to say they spent a lot in the summer, excusing relative inaction over the next 1-2 windows. Just saying, the club owners and executives will have to be kept as honest as possible by fans, otherwise this club will continue to always be 2-3 key signings short from being truly competitive.

I like Isak but there are still many questions around him.
Is Isak a striker, a second striker or a winger? Can he score 20 goals a season? Is he clinical enough? Can he utilize his height?

With Vlahovic you know what you get. He is a striker. He can finish the ball. He is a monster physically.

I do see an imposter in there…

They’re all very valid points regarding Isak.

I’m hyped for this signing, get him and another good CM and we’re getting towards a strong starting XI.
What’s the maximum you’d be happy for us to pay for Vlahovic? (Assuming reasonable wages).

It’s not my money, so I don’t care how much they pay. Think it’d end up being worth it. Plus, given his age, there is huge resale potential.

But yeah, says that we have agreed deal with the club, but not the player. Quite a big sticking point unless we plan on kidnapping

Not believing this until Fabrizio mentions it. He’s always on top of Serie A transfers.

I don’t see him moving in January. All paper talk.

They’ll wait until the summer, see what clubs still want a striker after the Haaland sweepstakes is decided.
