Easy.
You tell them that you had issues earlier in the season with players coming to an end of their career and other excuses. Theyāll proceed by saying that they managed to steady the ship in late December and show them our trajectory since then(2nd in the league).
You sell up that you now need a few missing pieces to complete the puzzle which they will try sorting out in the summer.
