Partey - Bissouma would be a difficult pivot for any team to play against. If they go down he could be an absolute bargain.

Although, I hope I never hear that “pace and power” crap again.
I think that’s less to do with them being African and more with them being really good midfielders. At least for me anyway, and that’s why I would want them instead of Xhaka or Elneny. People look to attribute race to everything these days though which is part of the problem.

They see a black midfielder and they immediately identify him as a destroyer and throw that “pace and power” crap in there.

Funny thing about this is, I don’t know anyone who would object to this description, black, white, Asian etc… (unless their being a snowflake for no reason) I mean it’s like telling people they look good or are good looking, it’s complimentary. But recently it’s some how seen as racist to describe black players as strong or powerful even if the guy is like 190cm and is actually strong and powerful. It’s a madness GC.
