Aouar would be for a more offensive role, no? Ideally, without really knowing him, they would sign Aouar with one of those three other guys. Thiago seems very unlikely though.
Thiago is very much a deep lying playmaker.
Him and Partey would be a tasty combo, ngl.

I think Torreira will be sold this summer. If we are going to play 4-3-3 then there would be room for Xhaka, Willock, Ceballos, and either a Thiago or Partey - canât see us signing both tbhâŚand would prefer Partey.
I think only Xhaka is a deep lying playmaker in the team. Torreira is a destroyer(possibly leaving this window) and Willock is a solid runner and ball carrier, more of an #8 at the moment.
Yeah. Ceballos, Thiago and Partey, although all three different, would all three be options for the (2-man) pivot. We also need somebody more offensive. Three midfielders this summer is probably too much.

Itâs pretty much down to the Ozil situation. I can see the club getting Partey and Ceballos over the line and then at the end decide to give Ozil another go in his final year.

To have only ESR and Ozil for those advanced roles but have Partey, Xhaka, Ceballos, Torreira, Thiago would be unbalanced AF.
Depends on how Arteta wants to use Willian, Willock, Nelson and Saka though. But thatâs weak.
If Partey isnât as box to box as people think, then we have to sell Elnenny and Torreira, and also buy an advanced midfielder.

I just donât see it happening that Ozil is going to be brought back into the team. That is why I really hope we sign another attacking midfielder. And a player for the pivot. If we canât loan Ceballos I think we can only buy one probably.

I think itâll end up being late in the window.
Arsenal will either have to pay the massive fee for Aouar, get Coutinho on massive wages for a season or stick with Ozil.
Itâd be too perfect of a window for us to sign Ceballos, Partey and Aouar.
I hope Lyon think the Guendo + money for Aouar deal through. Itâs a win-win situation for them. Although, I guess it depends on how broke they are.
