It’s not just contact-book only. We bought StatDNA as a company.
People film almost every game; and you can easily pay some numpty to film a single player and marry it up with stats.

Was this guy all hype? And if no, can he be revived?
Always struggled to see what people have seen in him other than a stellar WC performance. But equally I haven’t seen enough of him if I’m honest.
I was reading some Bayern fans really praising him for his vision, passing and creativity and that they’d have him over Coutinho for sure.
The problem is that James seems to be an old school classic no. 10 who would have done great under Wenger and did have his best season under Ancelotti at Real Madrid where he was played as a 10.
However I have read that when he was deployed as a deep-lying playmaker for Bayern he put in some excellent performances and the general conclusion I’ve seen on football forums is that he could be transitioned into a great deep-lying CM.
Bayern fans were saying he does have the ability to win a game on his own as well, either with his creativity or goal scoring ability.
No he wasn’t, performed very well for Real and was key even when we wasn’t starting regularly anymore.
Had a tough time with injuries in the past few years but still capable of playing well both for club and country, question is how much he’s still committed. On form he’s easily one of the best midfielders in the world.
He did well at Bayern IMO just didn’t work out for a transfer, still has something to give.
@Cristo I share the same sentiments as them, I’m a fan of his and would take him here perhaps on loan.
Yeah I’ve been keen to take him for years, ever since he started to fall out of favour.
Seems like there’s still a great player there and a good deal to be had.
I’d be more excited about getting him on loan than Coutinho.
I’d have him on loan, as long as it wasn’t tied to some outrageous loan fee.
In: Coutinho, Willian, Ceballos (either another loan or permanent) CB of some description with Saliba to arrive as well
Out: Maitland-Niles, Sokratis, Guendouzi, possibly Torreira
That would be my realistic prediction, not necessarily my ideal outcome.
we need to dump a fucktonne of defenders or our squad will be imbalanced going into next season.
RB Bellerin, Soares, AMN*
LB Tierney, Kola, Saka*
CB Papa, Holding, Mustafi, Marí, Luiz, Saliba, Chambers*, Mavro**
Makes 13 of them. Some asterisks there as they could play midfield but tbh none of them should atm. Mavro, whilst having just signed a new deal is going to Stuttgart on loan. Rumoured to be adding a new Gabriel for CB we’d better dump idno… 5-6 defenders then.
Based on current form they could all fuck off but we all know this isn’t FM and half of them are actually likeable. Jokes aside though what do we actually do. We had a good amount of defenders this time last year and then just went oh I know let’s buy Tierney, Luiz, Marí, Saliba and Soares and maybe Gabriel within a year because we need… 5-6 more defenders. Obviously they all just joined so they’re not leaving so who will be.
Just about everyone wants to get rid of Mustafi and Kola and they are on maybe £100k/w each and might have some resale value by age so imagine we sell them?, move AMN because he doesn’t fit in and Bellerin has more asset value, sell Chambers because I forgot he was at the club, send Holding on loan to get game time and find form? I’m not mad at Papa but say Sven want Papa back at Stuttgart as well?
We dump all of them we’re probably good on full backs (Tierney + Saka, Bellerin + Soares), but CBs, will we go into a season with Marí, Saliba, Luiz and some new Gabriel kid? We’ve barely seen Marí play, Gabriel and Saliba are 13yo if you combine their ages and Luiz is slower than a steam boat, so the composition seems weird maybe.
Have we fucked up in planning? Or will this end well. I mean we’re getting a wide attacker and need midfielders and the prem starts in 5 weeks ish.
I’ve also read the same about James, he’s rated by Bayern supporters a lot more than they like Coutinho.
I’d concur with them, I’d rather James if we are to have a washed #10
Chambers is still injured. Sokratis/Mustafi (agents) already said they have no reason to leave. I reckon we’ll have to wait patiently for Sokratis and Mustafi to be out of contract.
We had centre backs, but did anybody trust Chambers and Mavropanos at the start of this season? I reckon Mari was signed because we’ve had to deal with injuries.
Maitland-Niles didn’t want to be right back right? Explains why Soares was signed.
I’m afraid we are stuck with certain players for one more season. Doesn’t mean we can make room for others (midfielders first and foremost) by selling Torreira, Maitland-Niles and some others.
Osimhen already helped them a lot. But it does makes sense why Gabriel is being shipped out already. This was only his breakout season.
I wonder what happens with Renato Sanches and Ikone.
Ok maybe Campos isn’t the real deal.
UEFA making out like FFP isn’t dead after the City appeal
Yeah. Just take it to CAS and your off the hook. FFP is such a joke.
Finally nailing Lille, the main culprit and lone destroyer of fairness in European club football. This is exactly what we wanted when we asked for financial fair play, nail the fourth placed team in Ligue 1 who have been selling for more than they’ve bought for just about every window since the dawn of football. Fucking got em!
