If true, this is welcome. Frankly, our international scouting has been pretty shit for a while and Cagigao has been a mainstay during that period, going back into the Wenger years. Hopefully this is Arteta exerting more control over changing the direction of the club.

Fabregas let it slip that he(Francis) found Bellerin and Martinelli. God knows how many talents this guy found for us.
Arsenal never had any issues with identifying talent, itâs always been on Wenger to pull the trigger which he rarely did.

Losing Cagigao is bad he was our best scout Grimandi was the shitter who advised Wenger against all the top players we identified.

My fears in a nutshell
Yeah I have reservations on Kia but we havenât been good on young recruitment for years.

Weâve been shit at recruiting young players for years. If the sum total of Francis exploits at Arsenal was FĂ bregas 17 years ago, Bellerin a decade ago and Martinelli this summer then Iâm not sure weâve really lost out on much.
I think a big deal is going to be made about nothing here. Fundamentally, the contact book approach might work for us a lot better because itâs going to put us in bed with agents who actually control these talents and can help dictate where they go.
Times are changing and we need to change with it.

The thing is it seems itâs with just this one agent who is starting to becoming an increasing presence which I see negatively.
Casting the net wider perhaps wouldnât be so bad but mostly dealing with this one dude is troubling tbh

I think we all have those fears.
If we walk out of the summer with Willian, Courinho and Gabriel we should have serious concerns. Three signings that may tick boxes but three signings from the same agency. Itâs not a good sign.
