Arsenal transfers 25/26

2G+4A, that’s like a 100% improvement over Özil current output.

Apparantly he has a longer contract and not one-year left so Feyenoord can play hard ball.

@Darkseid he is not really the man of the assists. But unlocking defenses by playing forwards free or in one-v-one situations is more his thing. He still might develop that though he is only 19. However I don’t think he is that great of a talent.

Mundo Deportivo is not reliable anyway.

Roma are in deep doodoo financially right now. Their owner is trying to sell. It could be a chance for Arsenal to make a Cazorla-esque signing.

Justin Kluivert  @SDGooner

I thought he was supposed to be pretty good?

Just living off his dads name?

In terms of raiding Roma the name we should be looking at is Nicolò Zaniolo, forget the others.

Pellegrini and Zaniolo are serious players. The rest of Roma is pretty average.

Forgot about him, him too deffo.

Agree, I want to like Ünder as well but imo while there are flashes of flair here and there I still wait for that last step he needs to take to take a spot at the highest level, including getting a bit better actual numbers. Since we already have a handful of players just like that atm imo… But as with all these talents it could happen any day or not at all, they’re all a gamble.

Zaniolo is getting poached by Juventus.

Most probably yeah although the way they’ve been (stupidly) approaching the market recently, perhaps not.

Their recent blunders in the transfer market (Can, Rabiot, Ramsey) really shatters the myth of Juventus being geniuses in recruitment. It’s not hard to cherry pick the best young players from your rivals and offer them a shit ton of money. They just figured out the stadium financing first and as a result built a huge advantage over other Italian clubs.

They did lose Beppe Marotta. I think before the 18/19 season. He could very well be a good reason why there is a change in their recruiting policies.

It definitely wasn’t a myth.

They assembled a great squad of low cost transfers / free transfers. Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba, Barzagli were all free or extremely low cost transfers. They took a punt on Conte as a head coach and also got the likes of Tevez and Morata for dirt cheap. The business they did for about 3/5 years was great after years of shit business but the business they’ve done in the last few seasons has been awful.
