Vincius could thrive at the right club, however, we have no need to see if a project player (admittedly with a high ceiling) is better than a settled player who has just scored a hat-trick and is providing the boss with a selection headache.
Keep Martinelli, assess his value to the squad in the summer when a replacement, if needed, is likely to be easier to find.

MLS is off to a future in midfield IMO.
We’re very likely going to play 60+ games this year and for the next few years and we play a system that is very physically taxing on the defenders as we try to keep the opponent penned in and the defenders need to make maximum intensity recovery sprints when the other side counters. We need eight defenders that we can count on and who Arteta can interchange without losing the ability to keep playing the same style.
If by promising Guehi a good package in the summer we keep him out of City’s hands right now, all the better. I’m sure they will sign somebody else but nobody could hit the ground running as quickly as him in terms of quality and familiarity with the league.

The Hincapie deal (so far) is a loan. I cannot remember exactly if it was agreed that it would be a permanent deal for the summer of 2026, as a way to allow for accounting.
Maybe there is a clause to let him bounce if the coaching staff haven’t been happy with what they have seen?
Maybe there’s a clause that allows Arsenal to cancel the deal, albeit with a hefty penalty.

Arsenal have completed a deal with Bayer Leverkusen to sign Piero Hincapie on a season-long loan with an option to buy the centre-back for £45m. A five-year contract has been agreed with the 23-year-old if the option is triggered.

I suppose the obvious departure may well be La Flamma Blanco. I’d be disappointed if we replaced him with Mr. Guehi in all honesty but I understand the club probably respect White’s desires.

I don’t think anyone has to leave for Guehi to come in. We’d likely be in the market for a defender regardless as MLS moving into the midfield would give us Cala + Hincapie at LB, Timber + White at RB, then Saliba, Gabriel and Mosquera at CB meaning there is a need for a 4th CB.
Guehi does look like a really smart move tbh. Fills the above need, ticks the home-grown box too and the lack of a fee may give us a bit more room for working on other areas of the squad.
