We can probably spend £50m in this window. If one of our summer targets can come in during the January window within the limited budget the other two will have to wait for 1st July and the new accounting period.
I have no idea how much Semenyo will cost or whether he’s available now. Zubi is in the summer, none of our striker targets are available now, so it’s either Semenyo or a loan.
If we don’t sign anyone it means Trossard rotating with Havertz at false nine for the rest of the season, meaning a lot of game time for Martinelli and Nwaneri until Saka returns in April. Though I’d try MLS on the wing for rotation purposes. He looks like he can play anywhere.
No chance semenyo is avail now with the injuries they have, one of their best players.

Hear me out, I wouldn’t mind trying our luck loaning Goncalo Ramos. I know his move to PSG didn’t work out but I think that’s partly because Enrique prefers using false 9s.
Think he’d be a decent alternative to Havertz until the summer.

I don’t see us not signing anyone. There’s probably fallback options prepped similar to Jorginho, Sterling and Neto.

If what Sky were saying is true, that Villa advised Arsenal of Watkins’ availability, it looks like he’s coming here. Emery says he’s happy to stay while it’s also understood personal terms were sorted days, if not weeks, ago.
